Nicholas Leach is a portfolio manager responsible for high-yield mandates. He also contributes to the high-yield allocations used in our Core Plus strategies and other broad corporate bond mandates.

He is a contributor to the firm’s research specialization model. Mr. Leach oversees the team which conducts high-yield credit research and is also a member of the firm’s High-Yield Credit Committee.

Prior to joining CIBC Asset Management in 2012, Mr. Leach was a Portfolio Manager at TD Asset Management, and Credit Analyst at Clarica Life Insurance Company. He was also a Fixed Income Analyst at Dynamic Mutual Funds.

Mr. Leach holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. He is also a CFA charterholder.
